Today it was cold and very rainy in Paris. We went to Luxembourg gardens for about an hour this morning but it we got really wet and came home.
I took a tour or Invalides last week and we mostly talked about Napolean Bonaparte. This was my favorite tour because there are a lot of weapons and army strategies there.
I still have a couple of questions about Bonaparte that I will try to answer later:
1. Was there a Napolean III?
2. Who killed Napolean? They thought he had cancer when he died but when they opened up his body, they didn't see any evidence of cancer. They had thought it was cancer because he was always clutching his stomach and complaining of stomach pain. About 20% of people believe he died of cancer. 80% believe he was poisened over time. He had a lot of enemies.
3. Where did Napolean die?
4. How many brothers did Napolean have?
These are great questions! Have you discovered the answers yet?
ReplyDeleteI did not know that about Napoleon! Maybe he just had a stomachache, or someone was poisoning him. :)
